BalloonForge is published by Entropy Tools Solutions. This policy applies to the BalloonForge Windows app and the BalloonForge Pro subscription add-on.
Information the app processes
Depending on the features you use, BalloonForge may process files and folders you select, related file and project information, settings you configure, and operational diagnostics. The app uses this information to provide its features.
Local processing and storage
Core processing takes place on your device. BalloonForge stores app and project data locally. The app does not automatically upload your local files, app data, or settings to Entropy Tools Solutions. Uninstalling the app may not remove user data stored outside the app package.
Error diagnostics
BalloonForge uses Sentry to send error diagnostics when Sentry is configured; packaged releases include the app’s default Sentry configuration. Diagnostics may include exception details, sanitized error messages, stack traces, the app version, and runtime or operating-system information. Before sending an event, BalloonForge removes user and request data, breadcrumbs, machine names, local variables, source-code context, and local file paths. It does not send drawing contents, project files, report files, or recognized drawing text. You can disable error reporting before launch by setting BALLOONFORGE_DISABLE_TELEMETRY=1. Sentry processes diagnostics under its own privacy practices.
Support
If you contact support or choose to send us diagnostic information, we use the information you provide to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Do not send information you are not authorized to share.
Microsoft Store and subscriptions
Microsoft processes Microsoft Store payments and manages subscriptions under its terms and privacy practices. The app does not receive your payment-card details. Windows may provide the app with subscription licensing information so it can enable BalloonForge Pro features. You can manage or cancel a Microsoft Store subscription through your Microsoft account.
Your choices and requests
You choose which files to open, where to save exports, and whether to send information to support. You can disable error reporting before launch as described above and remove local app data using the files and folders on your device. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Contact us using the email below to make a request.
